With well over 300 applications, we have received an overwhelming response - this shows us how much confidence there is in our offer and how high the demand for accommodation remains. Unfortunately, the number of applications far exceeded the number of rooms available, so we were unable to consider all of them.
We realise that this news may be disappointing. Please be assured that this decision in no way calls into question your qualifications or commitment. Rather, it was a very challenging selection process in which we had to prioritise with a heavy heart.

The Green Living Inn Würzburg is a state-subsidized dormitory for students. In order to apply, you must be studying and enrolled at a university (Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg) or
university of applied sciences (Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt) in Würzburg.
We cannot accept trainees, doctoral candidates, Ph. D. students or trainee teachers.
On the former American barracks site Leighton-Barracks, in the immediate vicinity of the Hubland campus, we offer rooms in this energy-efficient and high-quality student residence completed in 2018. The 189 subsidized living spaces for BAföG recipients are fully furnished and thus top equipped. These are divided into: 111 single apartments, of which 3 are wheelchair accessible, 23 two-person shared flats (46 places), 4 three-person shared flats (12 places), 4 five-person shared flats (20 places).

Here you are in the centre of things instead of just being there. Close to the university, lots of green spaces where you can switch off and relax and yet close to everything, but in a quiet location
There are several washing machines and tumble dryers in two in-house laundry rooms on the ground floor or in the basement and you can have clean laundry again for little money
